This school focus more specifically on issues related to stability of time-delay systems and its applications. The goal of this Summer School is to present the different theoretical tools allowing the analysis of this class of dynamical systems. Courses will focus on the delay effects – either constant or time-varying, distributed or not – induced over the interconnected systems in order to improve their behaviours by using specific strategies. These strategies can be either local control laws – e.g., for energy distribution grids – or treatment methods – e.g., for chronic leukaemia – or computation algorithms – e.g., for dealing with congestions in communication or transportation networks, etc.
In particular, the lectures of the school deal with:
- Heriditary differential equations
- Frequency domain analysis
- Stability of time-delay systems
- Input-to-state stability of time-delay systems
- Identification of time-delay systems
- Applications of time-delay systems in: industry, networked systems, robotics, biology...
