Multiuser Detection for Uplink DS-CDMA Amplify-and-Forward Relaying Systems

Résumé :

The high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), characteristic of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, is a limiting factor to the use of power amplifiers in transmitting terminals, introducing nonlinear deteriorating and significantly attenuating the transmitted signal quality. In this talk, a performance analysis of a cooperative OFDM communication system with amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying and nonlinear power amplifiers will be presented. This analysis is done by evaluating the outage probability, that is based on instantaneous mutual information of the wireless communication channel. A closed-form expression for the outage probability lower bound is presented and validated through computer simulation.
