l\u2019instrumentation et \u00e0 la manipulation \u00e0 tr\u00e8s petite \u00e9chelle : il traite le probl\u00e8me du nanopositionnement ultra-rapide des objets miniaturis\u00e9s pour la mesure ultra-fine. Un d\u00e9fi th\u00e9orique et applicatif en raison des caract\u00e9ristiques et du comportement dynamique des objets miniaturis\u00e9s. nanopositionnement, lorsqu&rsquo;il est utilis\u00e9 en nanosciences, est de r\u00e9aliser un syst\u00e8me de mesure ultra-fine (rapports SNR tr\u00e8s faibles) de forces, champs ou topographie au niveau atomique. Dans ce contexte, un syst\u00e8me original de mesure de la position et de son contr\u00f4le a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour :<\/p><ul><li>\u00eatre tr\u00e8s rapide (bande passante de quelques dizaines de kHz) et tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis (Angstr\u00f6m=1e-10m),\u00a0<\/li><li>tenir compte des perturbations, non-lin\u00e9arit\u00e9s et bruits importants pouvant affecter la position de l&rsquo;objet miniaturis\u00e9.<\/li><\/ul><p>Ce syst\u00e8me, mis en \u0153uvre au GIPSA-lab, est inspir\u00e9 des sondes utilis\u00e9es en microscopie \u00e0 champ proche. Il consiste en une mesure de position par courant tunnel contr\u00f4l\u00e9 (type microscopie \u00e0 courant tunnel) et en un contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis de cette position par actionnement \u00e9lectrostatique, le syst\u00e8me \u00e9tant un microlevier utilis\u00e9 habituellement en microscopie \u00e0 force atomique, ayant un comportement fortement r\u00e9sonant. Ce type de syst\u00e8me sert \u00e0 mesurer des forces inter-atomiques (tr\u00e8s faibles) ou des topographies d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillons miniatures data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il n&rsquo;existe pas encore dans la litt\u00e9rature mondiale de r\u00e9sultat probant sur le contr\u00f4le \u00e0 la fois tr\u00e8s rapide (100 kHz) et tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis (\u00c5) de syst\u00e8me \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle nanoscopique. Effectivement, les \u00e9tudes existantes privil\u00e9gient chacune un aspect du probl\u00e8me complexe issu du compromis rapidit\u00e9\/pr\u00e9cision.<\/p><p>Compte tenu des r\u00e9sultats novateurs que l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe grenobloise de GIPSA-lab a d\u00e9j\u00e0 obtenus pour le positionnement contr\u00f4l\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis et rapide d&rsquo;objets miniaturis\u00e9s (micro-acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tre, micro-poutre d&rsquo;AFM), le d\u00e9fi que ce projet veut relever est le positionnement dans l&rsquo;espace d&rsquo;un objet de taille r\u00e9duite, avec une pr\u00e9cision dynamique \u00ab ultime \u00bb. Dans le contexte local o\u00f9 les nanosciences repr\u00e9sentent un axe majeur du p\u00f4le grenoblois, ce type de syst\u00e8me de nanopositionnement trouvera son application en microscopie en champ proche, notamment par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire des collaborations d\u00e9j\u00e0 initi\u00e9es avec les physiciens de l&rsquo;I. N\u00e9el et du laboratoire LiPhy (PR. Antoine Delon) sur le microscope confocal \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;optique adaptative.<\/p><p>Le plateau offre la possibilit\u00e9 de valider des aspects th\u00e9oriques sur la commande \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle nanoscopique. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude th\u00e9orique vise la formalisation des probl\u00e8mes critiques rencontr\u00e9s lors du positionnement ultime des objets miniaturis\u00e9s : prise en compte des diff\u00e9rentes dynamiques et \u00e9chelles (temps et dimension), des bruits, des non-lin\u00e9arit\u00e9s. Ces probl\u00e8mes qui habituellement sont trait\u00e9s par les sp\u00e9cialistes de la physique ou de la micro\u00e9lectronique, sont dans ce projet abord\u00e9s par les m\u00e9thodologies propres \u00e0 l&rsquo;automatique (mod\u00e9lisation dynamique interne, commande, observation, identification).<\/p><p>La mise en oeuvre d&rsquo;une application illustrative de positionnement \u00ab ultime \u00bb contr\u00f4l\u00e9, met en \u00e9vidence les probl\u00e8mes trait\u00e9s et permet la validation des m\u00e9thodes propos\u00e9es th\u00e9oriquement.
