Leurs causes sous-jacentes et marqueurs cliniques restent mal d\u00e9finis, en particulier chez les enfants francophones. Ce projet rassemble chercheurs et cliniciens dans le but de d\u00e9velopper un outil pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation des TDSP en fran\u00e7ais, et de produire des donn\u00e9es normatives sur le d\u00e9veloppement phonologique en fran\u00e7ais, en France et au Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>Les enfants pr\u00e9sentant des troubles des sons de la parole (TDSP) \u00ab peuvent avoir toute combinaison de difficult\u00e9s avec la perception, l&rsquo;articulation\/production motrice, et\/ou la repr\u00e9sentation phonologique des segments de la parole (consonnes et voyelles), la phonotactique (formes de syllabes et de mots), et la prosodie (tons lexicaux et grammaticaux, rythme, accent et intonation) qui peuvent affecter l&rsquo;intelligibilit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;acceptabilit\u00e9 de la parole \u00bb (International Expert Panel on Multilingual Children\u2019s Speech, 2012). Ces troubles sont tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandus, car ils touchent entre 10 et 15 % des enfants d&rsquo;\u00e2ge pr\u00e9scolaire et 6 % des enfants d&rsquo;\u00e2ge scolaire (American Speech Hearing Language Association, 2000 ; McLeod et Harrison, 2009). Ils peuvent entraver le d\u00e9veloppement du langage et affecter la r\u00e9ussite scolaire et l&rsquo;inclusion sociale. Pourtant, les processus pathologiques sous-jacents des troubles des sons du langage restent largement inconnus (MacLeod et al., 2014), et il n&rsquo;existe pas de syst\u00e8me de classification universel et valid\u00e9 (Waring &amp; Knight, 2013). La situation est particuli\u00e8rement pr\u00e9occupante pour les langues autres que l&rsquo;anglais, car les syst\u00e8mes de classification ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour expliquer les sympt\u00f4mes observ\u00e9s en anglais, et peu de tentatives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites pour explorer leur applicabilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une langue \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre. En fran\u00e7ais, en particulier, il n&rsquo;existe pas d&rsquo;outil d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation complet et sp\u00e9cifique des troubles des sons du langage \u00e0 la disposition des cliniciens. De plus, il manque clairement des donn\u00e9es de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sur le d\u00e9veloppement phonologique des enfants francophones au d\u00e9veloppement typique (MacLeod et al., 2011, Brosseau-Lapr\u00e9 et al., 2018). Cette absence d&rsquo;outils et de donn\u00e9es est en \u00e9vidente contradiction avec les recommandations actuelles pour une pratique clinique bas\u00e9e sur les preuves.
