Sonia KANDEL

Sonia Kandel est Professeure des Universités en Sciences Cognitives à l’Université Grenoble Alpes, où elle enseigne au sein de l’UFR SHS . Elle mène ses recherches au GIPSA-Lab (CNRS UMR 5216), au sein du Pôle Parole et Cognition, sur le traitement du langage oral et écrit. Sa formation initiale en Psychologie Cognitive a été suivie d’un Doctorat en Sciences du Langage et d’une Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches en Psychologie Cognitive. Ses travaux portent essentiellement sur les processus orthographiques et moteurs impliqués dans la production de l’écriture, la dyslexie et la dysgraphie, ainsi que sur l’impact des nouvelles technologies (smartphones) sur le traitement du langage écrit. 

Sonia Kandel is Professor of Cognitive Science at Université Grenoble Alpes, where she teaches within the UFR SHS. She conducts her research at GIPSA-Lab (CNRS UMR 5216), within the Speech and Cognition Department, focusing on the processing of spoken and written language. Her initial training in Cognitive Psychology was followed by a PhD in Language Sciences and an Habilitation to Supervise Research (HDR) in Cognitive Psychology. Her work focuses primarily on the orthographic and motor processes involved in writing, dyslexia and dysgraphia, as well as on the impact of new technologies (smartphones) on written language processing.
