It refers to any initiative that presents scientific knowledge (research methodologies and findings, as well as technological advancements) or cultural knowledge by bringing people together: the general public and participants.
It aims to forge links between society and scientific and technical institutions with a view to informing public debate.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and interact with the Communication and Scientific and Cultural Outreach networks of OSUG, UGA, and CNRS to disseminate information through the laboratory’s COM group.
- Develop educational materials on science and culture (related to linguistics, ethnography, ethnobotany, and ethnomycology). Present them at national or European events.
- Lead scientific and cultural outreach projects (related to linguistics, ethnography, ethnobotany, and ethnomycology).
- Assist laboratory staff in developing educational materials on science and culture and in organizing science and culture outreach projects.
