ENSTA Bretagne (DGA ANR Astride “Saint Cyber“) collaboration in the framework of ANR ASTRIDE Saint Cyber, 2019-2022 around the Methods and Systems for the protection against electronic attacks. Our contributions focus on the methods of analysis and identification of LPI signals. This collaboration started in 2007 in the framework of MRIS (Mission de Recherche et Innovation Scientific) by definition of instantaneous phase analysis concept for LPI signal characterization. Also, another collaboration, between 2008-2011, concerned the MODE (Méthodes d’Observation Discrète de l’Environnement) aimed to propose new methods of acoustic observation of underwater environment. MODE project has been founded by SHOM – Service hydrographique et océanographique de la Marine.

Since 2007, collaborations on the theme of "Signal processing and applications in the fields of estimation of physical acoustic parameters". Several research contracts, in particular a thesis under co-supervision (Ion Candel, 2011-2014) as well as numerous publications: 3 journals and more than 10 conference papers. More than 10 PhD students and master students have been actively involved in this collaboration. As important achievements I mention here the acoustic antenna and the distributed sensing systems of power networks – see two examples below:

Another important achievement is issued from the collaboration with EDF DTG in 2017 aiming to define acoustic inspection methods for the detection of ice corks in the water pipes. For this purpose, a reduced scale experimental facility has been constructed at ISEE platform:

This platform is fully used for educational purposes: two teaching modules (Diagnostic and Surveillance of Energy Systems) of M2 program of ASI and SICOM students use annually this platform for project-oriented labworks associated to these modules.
Current works concerns the AI systems for turbine efficiency monitoring as well as AI system for electrical machine surveillance, both of them being subject of potential patent pending.
Sophia Antipolis: Two CIFRE theses (Alexis Mours, 2014-2017 and Pedro Martins, 2015-2018), in the field of the applications of non-stationary signal processing methods in the context of SONAR systems - classification and localization.
Leader of the Arc Locator project (2011-2015), in collaboration with G2ELab, intended to set up a distributed system for locating electric arc sources. Popularization of the results of this work through participation in the RDV Carnot exhibition, Paris (November 2015) and the article “Energies du futur detects and locates electric arcs”, published in the review “Les Institut Carnot - la recherche pour les companies ”, June 2015 (pp. 32-33). Later, in 2015, the DEMALOC project has been devoted to define the prototype of the concepts developed in Arc Locator project. This prototype inspired also a part of the labworks equipment of the ISEE platform. All these achievements are also at the origin of the Translocator project.

Leader of the UTHIM (UTHIM –Ultrasonic Tomography for Hydro Instantionnarities Monitoring) project, 2017, aiming to design a software system for the measurement of hydro dynamics parameters. The project has been conducted in correlation with ASDA project leaded by LEGI laboratory. The main achievement is the design of a cavitation detection method based on instantaneous frequency analysis and an experimental prototype built in the Hydro Signal platform.

LEGI (co-supervision of the theses of Irina Murgan, 2015-2018 and Ivan Montero, 2019-2022).
