L’école thématique CARTOLING (Cartographie et analyse spatiale des données linguistiques) se déroulera sur le campus du 29 juin au 2 juillet 2020. Cette école thématique proposera des enseignements croisés dans différents domaines (informatique, mathématiques, linguistique) apportant des expériences d’extraction de corpus textuels, de traitement, d’analyse et de représentation spatiale de données linguistiques. La formation s’adressera à des linguistes et/ou à des géographes/géomaticiens souhaitant acquérir des compétences dans ces différents domaines.

40th Summer School of Automatic Control will be held in Grenoble in September, 9-13 on Control of Computing Systems. The Summer School is is mainly intended for PhD students, researchers and industrial participants interested in self-managing systems, autonomic management and control of Cloud, Real-Time or High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, privacy or BigData management. Basic knowledge in automatic control and mathematics is useful.

39th Summer School of Automatic Control will be held in Grenoble in September, 3-7 on Modelling and control at micro, nano and quantum scale. The Summer School is mainly intended to Ph.D. students, researchers and scholars interested in nanosystems and nanorobotics, being meanwhile open to industrial participants.

The 38th International Summer School of Automatic Control will be held from 11 to 15 september 2017 in Grenoble. The topic of this school will be on Approximative of large-scale dynamic models. Registration before July 13th.

Prolongation de l'Appel à communication pour les 15e Rencontres du Réseau Français de Phonologie (RFP2017) qui se tiendront à Grenoble le 5-7 juillet 2017. Ouvertes à tous les courants de la phonologie, cette édition mettra notamment l'accent sur les aspects multi-niveaux de l'interface phonologie-phonétique et la description des langues minoritaires. Appel ouvert jusqu'au 13 mars 2017.

The first edition of the summer school "Directional statistics in Signal and Image Processing" (DISSIP) will be held in Roscoff, Brittany, from the 22nd to the 26th of August 2016. The School is sponsored by the CNRS and the Persyval Labex. The summer school is open to everyone (PhD students, post-docs, researchers, etc) and is designed to provide a comprehensive state of the art on directional statistics and their usage in the field of signal and image processing, and at large in data science.

Ecole d'été thématique CNRS "Sciences et Voix : expressions, usages, et prises en charge de l’instrument vocal humain" du 26 au 30 septembre 2016 au Centre IGESA de l'île de Porquerolles.

Depuis 2012, les « Ateliers Sciences et Voix», organisés par GIPSA-lab sur le campus universitaire de Grenoble, témoignent du vif intérêt pour une approche interdisciplinaire de l'instrument vocal, avec la participation de chercheurs en SHS, SPI, STIC et Sciences de la vie,  sans compter les praticiens et les pédagogues de la voix. Pour comprendre l’objet de recherches scientifiques que constitue la voix humaine, il est essentiel de l'observer par le filtre des différentes disciplines scientifiques qui s'y intéressent, et par les pratiques cliniques et artistiques qui l'accompagnent. 

The 37th Summer School of Automatic Control will be held in Grenoble, in September 2016. This school will honor the research on Advanced Algorithms for Traffic Prediction and Control and will be hosted by Carlos CANUDAS de WIT, scientific coordinator of this school. The school will consist of a series of surveys, lectures and research talks taught in English, completed by a full day dedicated to industrial presentations and demonstrations of operational tools, among which the Grenoble Traffic Lab (GTL).
